Seducing the Billionaire's Wife Page 12
“Hell, yes, I’m serious. In fact…” He fell to his knee and pulled out her engagement ring, holding it up to her. “Will you marry me—again?” he asked. “No IOU this time. For either of us.”
“Yes,” she said, no hesitation in her voice.
Amazement washed over him as he jumped to his feet and crushed her to him. “I love you, Hannah. I love you so damn much it scares me.”
“Don’t worry, Drew. This time, I’ll be the one to save you when you get in over your head and don’t know what to do.”
“Is that a promise?”
She shook her head. “No, that’s a vow.”
Epilogue
‡
Four years later
“Happy Anniversary, sweetheart,” Drew said softly as he secured a diamond necklace at the nape of Hannah’s beautiful neck. “Sure you want to put up with me for another year?”
She spun around, silky hair falling around her shoulders in soft, pale curls. “Nope.”
Taken aback, his brows crashed together. “Nope?”
“Kidding.” Rising on her tiptoes to press a kiss to his lips, she said, “I want to put up with you for the next fifty years.”
Smiling against her mouth, he shook his head. “You had me worried for a minute, Mrs. Montgomery.”
She gave him a patent Hannah look and stepped back, rubbing her rounded belly. “Baby number two isn’t reason enough for me to stay, Mr. Montgomery?”
“Never. I want you at my side because you desire nothing else.”
“I desire to try out that extra shower head you had installed for me,” she said with a seductive smile. “We don’t have to go out tonight.”
He groaned, images of her nude, hot, wet, and ready bombarding his mind. “We could. Yeah, let’s stay in.”
“That was a test! You have to take me out. I’ve been dying to see the newly renovated portion of The Majestic Dunes.”
“Plan to get your old job back?” he asked as he took her by the hand.
“No. I hear the owner is a real bitch to work for.”
“Never. She’s the sweetest, sexiest… most wonderful woman in the world.”
Hannah beamed at him. “Wow. Now I really want to work for her.”
Smiling, they walked to the living room where Olivia played tea party with her babysitter.
“There’s my princess.”
“Daddy,” Olivia squealed, running to him.
He caught his daughter up in a hug and kissed her plump little cheek. She was the spitting image of her mother, right down to her blonde curls and silver eyes. But her personality—pure Olivia… with a dash of his stubbornness.
He was a lucky man. The richest one on earth, he would venture to say.
“Love you,” he said.
Olivia smiled. “Yes, you do.” She wriggled out of his arms and ran to her mother, kissing her belly. “You love me, too.”
Hannah stroked their daughter’s head. “Of course your baby sister loves you. She can’t wait to meet you either.”
For some reason, the two of them made him sentimental all of a sudden. If only his mother could have seen her grandchild and grandchild-to-be when she made her appearance. His dad, of course, spoiled Olivia rotten.
Hell, he had to make his dad allow them to get a babysitter who wasn’t him. But the feelings were mutual. Olivia adored William Montgomery.
“What are you thinking?” Hannah asked as she joined him.
He gazed into her pretty eyes and said, “That I am, without a doubt, the most blessed man on earth. I have been since the first time we met.”
Sneak Peek at Seducing the Billionaire’s Secretary, releasing soon!
“You are despicable,” Ella hissed, shoving his hand away.
Blake gave her a wicked smile. “That’s not what you said last night, love.”
The reminder of what had transpired between them made her blush. She hated how easily she could blush around him. “Obviously, I was out of my mind.”
“Multiple orgasms tend to do that, I hear.”
Her palm itched to slap that wicked and cocky smile off his face, but she couldn’t. Her boss was watching and so was his wife. A woman that Ella had tried desperately to hate, but ended up practically loving. Only the most hardened of hearts wouldn’t be able to recognize that Hannah and Andrew were perfect for one another.
Maybe one day, she would find her perfect man. Doubtful, given her hours at work and her years old, self-imposed dating hiatus just in case Andrew had changed his mind about dating employees.
“Damn it, Ella. Stop mooning over Andrew. He’s not yours. He’ll never be yours,” Blake said softly.
Tears sprang to her eyes, but she refused to let Blake see her upset. Once had been more than enough for her. “No. Damn you, Blake. Stop blackmailing me into sleeping with you. I’m not yours. I’ll never be yours.”
His gaze narrowed, and his sexy lips thinned. “You will be.”
